The revenues of Aeroflot were $4.6 billion in 2011

Following the results of 12 months of 2011 Aeroflot’s revenues were $4.6 billion (135.801 billion rubles) (+ $787 million (23.23 billion rubles) or +20,6% as compared to the results of 2010), said in the statement of the airline’s press-service. AEX.ru

«The increase of the revenues is caused by growth of demand for the company’s services and increase of sales», - the press-service noted.

Following the results of 12 months of 2011 the growth rate (+20,6%) complies with the rate of passenger traffic increase (+20,8%). The prime cost of sold goods, products and services was $3.76 billion (111.081 billion rubles) in 2011. The scope of gross margin was $837.43 million (24.719 billion rubles), EBT - $469 million (13.844 billion rubles), net profit - $352.33 million (10.40 billion rubles), Aeroflot noted.

Aeroflot’s total assets have reached $3.27 billion (96.73 billion rubles) in 2011 (+$817.13 (24.12 billion roubles) or +33,2%) as compared to the end of 2010.

«The main reason for increase of the assets is the increase of pre-delivery payments to the leasing companies and growth of agents’ current debts caused by sales buildup», - the airline stated.

The company’s long-term obligations, formed mostly by two bonded loans of 2010 with a total amount of $406.53 million (12 billion rubles) for a period of 3 years, have slightly increased to $508.17 million (15 billion rubles) because of obligations connected with delivered SSJ-100 aircraft, Aeroflot explained.
