Sheremetyevo international airport (SIA) has summed up the results of financial and economic activities for 2011 in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards, the airport’s press-service reports. AEX.ru
The SIA’s net profit was $78,74 million (2,32 billion rubles) in 2011 (4.8 times higher compared to the same figure in 2010). The company’s revenue has increased by 7% to $310,42 million (9146 million rubles). Sheremetyevo’s net worth were 12 billion $19,3 million (568,9 million rubles) as of December 31st 2011, the airport noted.
The selling of non-core assets has seriously influenced Sheremetyevo’s net profit. The selling has been carried out in the network of implementation of Board of Directors’ decisions on disposal of shares of subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
Revenues from non-aviation business were $117,09 million (3450 million rubles) in 2011; almost the same as compared to 2010.
“Following the results of 2011, non-aviation revenues form 37.7% of the airport’s total revenues. The high rates of expansion for non-aviation business testify that the efficiency of using the commercial facilities and new possibilities for airport’s business partners has increased”, - SIA’s press-service noted.
