Aeroflot and Russian Football Union have signed an agreement on free transportation of fans to Euro-2012

CEO of Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, Vitaly Savelyev, and president of Russian Football Union (RFU), Sergey Fursenko, have signed the agreement on free transportation of fans due to conducting the games of Euro-2012, Aeroflot’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

"The program will begin in Poland, where Team Russia will be playing its first matches on Euro-2012. Aeroflot will allocate the passenger jet for performing a free flight from Moscow to Warszawa for the fans on June 7th. The same flight backwards will be performed on June 17th. Moreover, Aeroflot will also organize two additional flights at preferential price on these days", - the airline noted.

Some additional flights may also be organized. Their quantity and geography depend on success of Team Russia and the number of flights will be increasing as the Team Russia enters every new stage of the Championship. Aeroflot will organize two additional flights every time Team Russia improves its position: one free flight and one – at preferential price. At that, the same holds true not only for Poland but also for Ukraine.

The transportation will be carried out using comfortable Airbus А320 jets.

It is a very important training for Aeroflot on the eve of the Olympics. We will be servicing the summer London Olympics and Winter Olympics 2014 in Sochi».
