Kazan Helicopters has doubled its profit in 2011

Kazan Helicopters has doubled its net profit in 2011 as compared to 2010. The enterprise’s net profit has reached $221,43 million (6,49 billion rubles), Kommersant reports. The enterprise’s revenues have increased to $1,09 billion (32,18 billion rubles) (150%). According to the company, the growth of its indicators is connected with increase of sales volume. At that the share of export in the commercial output was 76%.

The company’s report says that the amount of credits and loans was 10,81 billion rubles as of early 2012. One of the enterprise’s main partners in the area of crediting of commercial and state contracts on delivery of helicopters to the Ministry of Defense is VTB bank. The debt of Kazan Helicopters to VTB was  $185,26 million (5,43 billion rubles) as of early 2012. Another creditor of Kazan Helicopters is Sankt-Peterburg bank (the debt is $119,07 billion (3,49 billion rubles)).

Kazan Helicopters is manufacturing Мi-8, Мi-17, and light Ansat helicopters.

The share of Russian Helicopters in the authorized capital of Kazan Helicopters is 80,96%.
