After completion of ground and flight checks in accordance with the Program of Technical Acceptance, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) and Aeroflot – Russian Airlines have signed the aircraft acceptance certificate of the seventh Sukhoi Superjet 100 MSN 95016 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the SCA’s press-service reports. The liner has been named after the Aeroflot’s honored pilot, Georgy Benkunsky, and its tail number is RA-89008, the company noted.
“In accordance with the document, signed by the parties, the jet is handed over to Aeroflot with a full set of operational documentation and belongings. The liner corresponds to the claimed aircraft performance; it is functioning properly and is ready for flight operation and performance of flights on domestic and international destinations in accordance with Aeroflot’s schedule”, - the SCA’s press-service reports.
The ferry flight of SSJ100 МSN 95016 from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Moscow (Sheremetyevo airport) is scheduled for April 9th, SCA noted.
