The reorganization of “Sheremetyevo International Airport” by means of joining it with “Terminal” has been completed

The reorganization of “Sheremetyevo International Airport (SIA)” by means of joining it with “Terminal” (the operator of Terminal D) has been completed. The corresponding record has been made in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on April 2nd 2012. Thus the integration of SIA’s asset portfolio has been completed, Sheremetyevo’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

"The line-up of new SIA’s owners is as follows: Russian Federation (83,04% of authorized capital), Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (8,96%), Vnesheconombank State Corporation (4,24%), VTB Bank (3,76%). The activities of “Terminal” have been ceased and all of its rights and obligations have been transferred to SIA", - the airport explained.

"The preparatory work on integration of the companies was being carried out for six months. The working group, which has been coordinating production, technological and business processes connected with the integration of the companies, was formed in order to provide the continuous operation of Sheremetyevo airport during the process. The special attention has been paid to maintaining the high level of service quality and safety of passengers, airlines and customers", - SIA’s press-service noted.

The inventorying of Terminal D’s equipment, systems and technical devices has been carried out in the network of the integration. The common quality standards have been implemented in the area of passenger service and baggage handling at the Sheremetyevo airport, taking into account the joining of “Terminal”. Work on integration of key IT-services, information and security systems has also been accomplished, the airport explained.

The Federal Agency for State Property Management has taken a decision earlier to perform the reorganization of SIA by means of joining it with “Terminal”. The corresponding agreement has been signed on December 13th 2011. Prior to the integration the authorized capital of SIA has been increased from 1 910 457 320 rubles to 2 300 701 087 rubles by placing additional 390 243 767 equity nominal uncertified shares with a nominal value of 1 ruble. At present Sheremetyevo international airport is the Russia’s largest one by area, which includes six terminals: А, В, С, D, E, F. The total area of the terminals is 480,000 square meters. Its capacity is 35 million passengers per year, the airport’s press-service noted.
