Chernigovka army air base in Primorye will be re-equipped with Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopters this year, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports. It was declared by the official representative of Ministry of Defense of Russia, Eastern Command, Captain I rank, Roman Martov.
The first demonstration flights of new “Alligators” and Mi-8AMTSh have taken place in Chernigovka on Monday.
"All the crews have performed well and completed their missions by hitting the ground targets", - Martov said.
He noted that the first planned flights have been performed by “Alligators” last autumn in accordance with the combat training program.
