VTB Group’s credit committee has approved the financing of Transaero’s acquisition of 4 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft by VTB-Leasing, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Transaero and Boeing – Commercial Airplanes have signed a firm contract on delivery of these jets. The amount of this contract is assessed at $774 million at list price.

«VTB-Leasing is Transaero’s largest leasing partner. Their cooperation has been started in 2004. The fact that VTB-Leasing will finance the acquisition of new-built Boeing 787 jets is the testament of strengthening of fruitful cooperation between the carrier and leasing company», - the airline’s press-service noted.

Transaero acquires Boeing 787 jets with a comfortable three-class cabin configuration with 262 seats: 4 seats in the first class, 14 – in business class and 244 - in the economy one. The deliveries of these jets will be started in 2014. Transaero will operate Boeing 787 jets on domestic and international routes.
