The transfer of shares of Aeroflot Group’s airlines: Orenair, SAT airlines and Rossiya from Aeroflot-finance (subsidiary of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines) to Aeroflot has taken place on April 18th, the airline’s press-service reported. AEX.ru
"Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has received shares of Orenair (100%), SAT airlines (100%), Rossiya airline (75% minus one share)", - Aeroflot noted.
The deal has been accomplished in accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, taken in February 2012 and aimed at development of interaction with the airlines in the network of Aeroflot Group’s integration.
"The integration process will help Aeroflot Group create a large aviation holding, which would be able to compete with the leaders of global aviation industry. Three regional centers will be created – in South, North-East and Far East of Russia. The Group’s traffic shall increase four times by 2025. Thus Aeroflot will be one of the European top-5 airlines by passenger traffic and revenues and among top-20 world carriers", - Aeroflot’s press-service explained.
