AirBridgeCargo, the Russia’s largest cargo carrier forming part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has acquired the second Boeing 747-8F. The solemn ceremony has taken place on March 30th at the Boeing’s Everett site (USA), press-service of Volga-Dnepr Group reports. AEX.ru
AirBridgeCargo will be operating the jet on regular routes to Europe, Asia and USA.

The acquisition of the second jet is the next step towards implementation of AirBridgeCargo’s strategy for optimization and modernization of its fleet», – the company’s executive president, Tatyana Arslanova, noted. According to her, «the optimization of carrier’s fleet improves the quality of the airline’s services».
Besides 5 ordered Boeing 747-8F aircraft, AirBridgeCargo has one more option for additional 5 aircraft of this model.
