The 12th international “Dvigateli-2012” show has opened today in Moscow in the 57th pavilion of the All-Russia Exhibition Center. “Dvigateli” is the only specialized international forum of engine manufacturers (since 1992). More than 130 enterprises from 8 countries of the world will take part in the show. AEX.ru

The show will be held on April 17-20 2012. It is open to the public.

The “Scientific and engineering congress on engine technology” will also be held in the network of the show. About 150 reports will be presented at the 12 thematic symposiums of the Congress. The special attention will be paid to the advanced development of the scientific centers, creation of PD-14 engine, special features of the advanced engine components’ development. The show’s order of business includes some events; among them is the Day of science and knowledge with the participation of Russian universities and academic institutions.

The leading enterprises, whose activities are connected with developing, manufacturing, repairing and carrying out maintenance of engines for aviation, space, energetics, car and tractor industry, shipbuilding, gas transmission, railway equipment, fire-fighting, nano-technologies in the engine technology area, along with the suppliers of materials, semi-finished products, machining stations and tools are traditionally taking part in the show.
