Russian airlines have transported more than 13,2 million passengers during the first three months of 2012

Federal Air Transport Agency has unveiled the statistics on passenger and cargo traffic of Russian airlines in March and the first three months of 2012. AEX.ru

According to this statistics, the Russian airlines have transported 4 596 952 passengers in March 2012 (+18% as compared to March 2011). 13 234 227 passengers have been transported during the first three months of 2012 (+18.9% as compared to the same period of 2011).

The passenger turnover of the airlines was 11 768 012,21 thousand passenger-kilometers in March (+ 13%). The cargo turnover was 528 623,28 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 18%). As for the three months, the passenger turnover of the airlines was 36 013 727.05 thousand passenger-kilometers (+17.9%) and the cargo turnover was 1 209 320.09 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 15.9%).

Russian carriers have transported 82 910.44 tons of cargo and mail in March 2012 (-2,6%) and 218 904.67 tons of cargo and mail during the first three months of 2012 (+6.4%).
