«Transaero has chosen the type of antenna, which has never been installed on Boeing-747 aircraft before, that is why in accordance with FAA rules, it was necessary to complete the flight test program. The reliable work of the antenna has been confirmed during these flights, which have been performed in different modes, including the full power conditions», - the airline noted.

The successful completion of the testing carried out in USA by Transaero paves the way for serial equipping of Boeing-747 aircraft with the type of antenna selected by the carrier, the airline explained.
