Kolavia (Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district) has leased four Airbus aircraft and intends to lease two more in 2012, Kommersant reports. It has been reported by CEO of the company, Yuri Ermolaev.

«We will lease a total of six aircraft this year. Four Airbus jets have already arrived at Domodedovo, the fifth one is at the airframer’s plant now. As for the sixth jet, the process is in the stage of memorandum of understanding. We hope to acquire it in summer», — he explained.

According to him, the charter flights to Turkey and Egypt remain the strategic destinations of the airline. The possibility of opening new routes also exists. «Maybe we will be performing flights from Antalya not only to Moscow but also to other Russian cities. For example, we are considering St. Petersburg and Samara», - CEO added.

It has been reported earlier that Kolavia has ceased the operation of Tu-154 aircraft in the network of its central regular schedule on September 26th 2011. At present the airline is performing international charter flights using Airbus aircraft.
