Volga-Dnepr gets the green light for acquiring a share in Air Cargo Germany

Volga-Dnepr has gained clearance for acquiring a share in Air Cargo Germany from anti-monopoly authorities of Germany, Kommersant reports.

"The deal has been approved, it does not infract the antitrust law of Germany", - a source in the airline reported.

Volga-Dnepr Logistics, forming part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has proceeded with an acquisition order for a share in Air Cargo Germany (ACG) on March 1st 2012. According to the EU legislation, non-resident of EU may acquire up to 49% of European company. The founder of Air Cargo Germany is Andrey Goryashko (he was the CEO of Aeroflot-Cargo in 2008).
