Boeing and Air Astana have unveiled the contract on delivery of four 767-300ERs (extended range) and three 787-8s with a total value of $1.3 billion (list prices). The deal is the largest order on civil aircraft in the history of Kazakhstan, Boeing’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Having the range of large wide-body aircraft along with the great fuel efficiency, 787 provides decrease of fuel burn by about 20% as compared to another advanced analogues. The passengers will also be able to appreciate the upgraded interior of its cabin, providing a high level of comfort. All the Boeing 767 aircraft are eco-friendly, they have low noise footprint and emission coupled with high fuel efficiency, which provide maximum versatility in the segment of passenger aircraft with 200-300 seats. Boeing has already delivered over 1000 767s, which are operated by more than 120 operators all over the world, the company noted.

Boeing's order backlog includes 873 787 Dreamliner jets ordered by 60 customers all over the world.
