Russian airlines have serviced more than 8,58 million passengers during the first two months of 2012

According to Federal Air Transport Agency, the Russian airlines have serviced 8 588 984 passengers during the first two months of 2012 (+18.8% as compared to the same period of 2011). AEX.ru

The passenger turnover of the airlines was 24 208 527.80 thousand passenger-kilometers, (+ 20,2% as compared to the same period of the last year).
In addition, Russian airlines have transported 125 035.64 during January and February of 2012 (+3.1%). The cargo turnover was 631 365.62 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 6%).

During the accounting period (February 2012) Russian carriers have transported 4 071 370 passengers (+23,7% as compared to the same period of 2011) and 67 514.94 tons of cargo and mail (+ 13%). The passenger turnover was 11 408 244.73 thousand passenger-kilometers (+27.6%) and the cargo turnover was 342 237.80 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 17.8%).
