UAC will start the deliveries of SSJ-100 with an extended range in 2013

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will start the deliveries of new medium-haul SSJ-100 aircraft with an extended range and its “business-jet version” in 2013, said the president of UAC, Mikhail Pogosyan. It has been reported by RIA Novosti.

"We plan to upgrade the jet’s basic modification and start the deliveries of SSJ-100 with an extended range next year", - Pogosyan said.

He reminded that the current version of SSJ 100 has a range of about 3000 km. The new modification will have the range of over 4000 km.

"We will also start deliveries of business-jet version next year", - Pogosyan reported. Accordign to him, these liners will be intended for VIP-passengers, and will be intended for airlines as well as state requirements.

In addition, the head of UAC said, that the Corporation in cooperation with airlines plan to define the viability of development of Sukhoi Superjet 100 version with an increased seat capacity. According to him, the versions with 110-115 seats and 125-130 seats are being considered. Pogosyan reminded that at present the airlines are operating liners with 98 seats.
