Sky Aviation is the first SSJ100 customer in Southeast Asia market. The carrier has placed an order for 12 jets. The deliveries are scheduled for the period from 2012 to 2015. The installation of interior and painting of Sukhoi Superjet 100 (MSN 95022) in the livery of Sky Aviation was completed in late November 2012.
SuperJet International, the company responsible for post-sales support and training, has already trained 8 pilots for Sky Aviation. 18 flight attendants will complete their training by the end of the year and 12 technicians will complete the courses in January 2013. It is expected that the first jet will be delivered to the airline in 2012 after finalizing all the documents, the company noted.
Indonesian General Directorate of Civil Aviation has validated the type certificate for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (RRJ-95B) earlier. The certificate confirms that SSJ100 aircraft meets all the certification requirements of the Indonesian aviation authorities, allowing its export to Indonesia and operation by Indonesian airlines without restrictions.
