Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation refuelling business of Gazprom Neft, has commenced supplying aviation fuel at Domodedovo to Emirates, which is operating the first regular flights in Russia on the world's largest passenger aircraft - the Airbus A380.
Deliveries for the daily Emirates flights from Moscow to Dubai are being made following the signing of long-term agreement between Emirates and Gazpromneft-Aero in August 2012. The Airbus A380 is currently the largest passenger aircraft in the world carrying up to 518 people. This will enable Gazpromneft-Aero to raise monthly volume to Emirates by 60%.
Direct delivery from Gazprom Neft refineries guarantees product quality as well as allows highly favourable price terms for the airline.
Vladimir Egorov, CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero stated: "Today the experience our company has accumulated worldwide in supplying aviation fuel allows us to develop partnerships with major international airlines. I am confident that cooperation with airline industry leaders will allow Gazpromneft-Aero to strengthen its position in the world market and raise standards in the Russian aviation fuel supply industry."
