Sheremetyevo airport serviced 25 million passengers this year for the first time in its history

Sheremetyevo international airport serviced over 25 million passengers this year for the first time in its history. The milestone passenger was serviced at Terminal E on December 13th 2012, the airport’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

"The 25-millionth passenger was checked-in on KL 904 flight from Moscow to Amsterdam performed by KLM. The charming couple – Andrey and Nadezhda, have shared the privilege of being the “anniversary passengers”. They were heading to the capital of Netherlands on holidays. They’ve been awarded with the coffee-break with famous Russian TV-presenter, Tutta Larsen. They were also able to visit the airport’s control center", - the airport noted. 

The 25-millionth passengers have been congratulated by the airport’s representative and the destination representative of Air France KLM at the Sheremetyevo airport, Pierre Noel Gautier. "Sheremetyevo airport demonstrates the stable increase of the passenger traffic. It is expected that the airport’s passenger traffic will exceed 26 million passengers following the results of 2012 and this will be the new record for Sheremetyevo", - the press-service noted.
