Transaero will be the official carrier of the Russian ice hockey national team during the period from November to May in the network of different competitions held in various countries, including World Championship in 2013 held in Sweden and Finland, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

«The transportation of Russian ice hockey national team will be carried out using Transaero’s Boeing 737s, including a unique business-version of the jet, equipped with a system providing in-flight high-speed internet and mobile services», - the carrier explained.

“Team Russia will perform the first flight from Moscow to Turku using this jet on November 5th in order to take part in Karjala Cup in the network of Euro Hockey Tour. It is symbolic that Transaero will celebrate the 21st anniversary of its first flight on November 5th. "Transaero has a vast experience in transportation of Russian athletes in the network of different competitions including Winter Olympic Games", - the press-service noted.
