S7 Airlines, the member of oneworld global alliance, and Alfa Strakhovanie have launched a joint project. Now the passengers of S7 Airlines are able to purchase extended travel insurance covering all the unforeseen situations during their journey, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The insurance may be purchased at one of the stages of reserving electronic ticket through the airline’s website. The system offers the insurance policy, which meets the requirements of the specific journey. "S7 Airlines is the first Russian airline to offer the extended travel insurance. The police is formed taking into account the parameters of the journey – the receiving country, duration, age of the passengers – and covers almost all the risks connected with the journey", - the airline noted.

“Travel” and “Travel-Sport” comprehensive policies have been added to the standard one. The passengers may purchase these policies regardless of their age (including children and seniors). The passengers will not have to provide any additional information in order to purchase the insurance – the policy will be formed in accordance with the data provided by the passenger during ticket reservation and then it will be sent together with the itinerary receipt to the client’s e-mail automatically, the airline explained.
