S7 Airlines and Etihad Airways open codeshare flights to Australia

S7 Airlines, the member of oneworld global alliance, announced the expansion of a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways,which assumes the performance of codeshare flights from Moscow to Sydney (Australia). AEX.ru

"The carriers will be performing daily flights from Moscow to Sydney with a comfortable connection at Abu Dhabi airport (UAE) since November 27^th. The flight will depart from Moscow Domodedovo airport at 15:10 and arrive at Sydney at 19:25 local time (on the next day). The return flight departs at 21:50 and arrives at Moscow at 13:20 (on the next day)", - S7 explained.

The flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi are performed using advanced Airbus A320 liners and from Abu Dhabi to Sydney – using wide-body Airbus A340s owned by Etihad Airways. In the network of the codeshare agreement S7 Airlines and Etihad Airways are performing codeshare flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi and from Moscow to Bangkok (Thailand) with a connection at Abu Dhabi airport, the carrier’s press-service noted.

Etihad Airways helps Russian passengers in obtaining visa providing entrance to UAE. The passengers may file an application for receiving the visa using the carrier’s website.
