Yakutia Airlines signed an agreement with Boeing on delivery of 737NG aircraft

Yakutia Airlines and Boeing have signed an agreement on delivery of 12 737NG aircraft during 2016-2018 period. Yakutia Airlines will acquire 3 Boeing 737-700s and nine Boeing 737-800s in the network of this agreement, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The corresponding document was signed by the CEO of Yakutia Airlines, Ivan Prostit, and Boeing’s Director on Sales, Sergey Leshinsky, in the network of Days of Sakha Republic in Moscow. "Yakutia Airlines and Boeing have a long history of partnership. ThefirstBoeingaircraftwasdeliveredtoYakutiain 2007. Yakutia have chosen Boeing jets because of their operational efficiency and reliability. These jets may be operated under conditions of extremely low temperatures (up to -54C)", - the airline noted.

Yakutia Airlines is also cooperating with Boeing in the area of maintenance, repair and overhaul of the aircraft. "Thus, the parties have expressed interest in strengthening their long-standing and mutually beneficial partnership. They are also ready to start the next phase of negotiations on purchasing these jets", - the press-service noted.
