Transaero has finalized the results of 10 months of 2012. They give testimony to substantial development of the company and significant growth of its operational indicators, the airline reports. AEX.ru

“Transaero’s passenger turnover during period from January to October 2012 was 34 569 947 thousand passenger-kilometers (+ 25,6% as compared to 10 months of 2011). The number of transported passengers was 8 907 185 (+ 22.8%). 52 956 tons of cargo have been transported during 10 months (+ 29,8%).
The cargo turnover was 3 416 934 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 26% as compared to 10 months of 2011)”, - the airline explained.

We remind you that Transaero was elected the best airline of Eastern Europe in 2012. It was awarded with World Airline Awards prize by Skytrax. The company also won the prize in the Airline Market Leadership category of ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards in 2012. “According to the international rating of tourist passenger traffic published by Airline Business in 2012, Transaero comes in sixth by the number of passengers transported to different resorts|”, - the carrier’s press-service noted.
