The passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport was 24 010 764 passengers during 10 months of 2012 (+9.1% as compared to the same period of 2011), the airport’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Domodedovo airport has serviced 2 418 399 passengers in October 2012. The number of takeoff and landing operations was 22 037 (+8%). The airport has serviced 212 953 flights during January-October 2012 period.

“During the 10 months of 2012 Domodedovo serviced 9 779 215 passengers on domestic airlines (+14.2%). 1 024 424 passengers made use of the airport services in October 2012. The following destinations contributed to the growth of this indicator (+24.4%): St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Anapa and Chelyabinsk. The passenger traffic on these destinations was 2 555 thousand passengers”, - the airport explained.

The airport serviced 14 231 549 passengers on international airlines during January-October 2012 (+5,8% as compared to the same period of 2011). The greatest growth has been recorded on the following destinations: Minsk, Barcelona, Kiev, Paphos, Yerevan. The passenger traffic on these destinations was 1 452 000 passengers in October 2012 (+43%).

The cargo traffic of Domodedovo increased by 2.4% in October 2012 and reached 17 951 tons. During the period from January to October 2012 its cargo traffic was 158 626 tons (+3,7%).
