The order backlog of Rosoboronexport in the military aviation segment is assessed at more than $11 billion, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of Rosoboronexport’s Department of Air Forces, Sergey Kornev.
He will head the enterprise’s delegation at "Airshow China — 2012", which opens in Zhuhai on November 13th. "As for the backlog in the military aviation segment, it is assessed at $11,2 billion. It is about 30% of the cost of all the existing contracts signed by Rosobotonexport", — Kornev said.
He also said that Rosoboronexport has delivered aircraft and helicopters with a total value of $4.2 billion to its foreign customers this year (about 40% of the total export volume). "This figure will increase by the end of this year", — Kornev said. "Of course it is a very dynamic indicator - while some contracts are being performed the new ones are signed and thus the total value of the order backlog changes", — the head of Rosoboronexport’s Department of Air Forces noted.
