Transaero has finalized the results of 9 months of 2012. They give testimony to substantial development of the company and significant growth of its operational indicators, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

“Transaero’s passenger turnover during period from January to September 2012 was 31 279 817 thousand passenger-kilometers (+ 25,8% as compared to 9 months of 2011). The number of transported passengers was 8 076 597 (+ 23.1%). 46 ,450,23 tons of cargo have been transported during 9 months (+ 29,8%).
The cargo turnover was 3 082 659 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 26,1% as compared to 9 months of 2011)”, - the airline noted.

We remind you that Transaero was elected the best airline of Eastern Europe in 2012. It was awarded with World Airline Awards prize by Skytrax. The company also won the prize in the Airline Market Leadership category of ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards in 2012. According to the international rating of tourist passenger traffic published by Airline Business in 2012, Transaero comes in sixth by the number of passengers transported to different resorts.
