Motor Sich plans to reach annual sales of $1 billion next year. It was declared by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Motor Sich, Vyacheslav Boguslaev, LigaBiznesInform reports.
He noted that following the results of 2012 the enterprise’s annual sales will reach $820-840 million. And it is planned to increase this figure by 14-16% next year. According to Boguslaev, the production program is being performed in accordance with the schedule. A lot will depend on implementation of the program for production of An-140 aircraft equipped with engines manufactured by Motor Sich, he noted.
According to him, nine An-140s should be manufactured this year in Samara and it is planned to manufacture up to 50 vehicles next year. Moreover, according to Boguslaev, the order backlog will increase due to cooperation with Russian Helicopters Holding Company, re-engining of An-2 aircraft and deliveries of engines for L-15 multi-role operational trainer manufactured in China.
We remind you that Antonov and Russian Machines have signed an agreement on intensification of An-140’s production in the network of Aviasvit XXI show. The production development program should be completed in five years. It is planned to integrate all the providers of maintenance services into a single company. It will allow the customer to contact a single legal entity and it will also provide the full cycle of post-sales support.
The contract on delivery of 11 An-140s has already been signed by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the order backlog is increasing. We are negotiating with two state agencies on delivery of 40 aircraft.
