The ex-president of Irkut Corporation, Alexey Fedorov, was appointed counselor of CEO of Russian Technologies State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov, Gazeta.ru reports.

«His main area of activity is aviation», – Russian Technologies reported.

We remind you that the Board of Directors of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has taken a decision on early termination of Fedorov’s powers in July 2012.

Fedorov was appointed president of UAC in 2006 and fired by Dmitry Medvedev in 2011 because of “unsatisfactory usage of innovations”. Later he was appointed president of Irkut Corporation.
