It was reported by the CEO of Ak Bars Aero, Petr Trubaev, at a press-conference in Nizhny Novgorod. At present the fleet of Ak Bars Aero includes 13 CRJ-200s, and two more aircraft of this type should be acquired in 2012. The carrier’s fleet also includes 10 helicopters and 5 business jets (2 Yak-40s and 3 Challenger 604/605s).
Trubaev reminded that the consolidated carrier will also acquire Airbus A319/A320 aircraft (the total number of these jets owned by the carrier will reach 10 ones). All the aircraft will be leased.
