The airlines of S7 Group («Sibir’» and «Globus», which perform flights on behalf of S7 Airlines) have finalized the results of 2011, the press-service of S7 reports. AEX.ru

6 600 454 passengers have made use of the airlines’ services last year (+11,4% as compared to 2010). The number of flights, performed by the S7 Group airlines, has increased to 61 464 (+11,5%).

«The growth of our performance indicators in 2011 meets our expectations. We have offered new destinations to our passengers last year. The expansion of S7’s fleet has contributed to the growth of indicators: S7 Airlines has acquired two state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800NG aircraft directly from the manufacturer in spring 2011. I would like to admit that S7 Airlines has managed to keep the average tariff at the level of 2010, in spite of fuel price increase», - Vadim Besperstov, Director on strategic development of S7 Airlines, noted.

The expansion of S7 fleet will continue in 2012. S7 Airlines will acquire six brand-new Airbus A320s in the first half of 2012. The first liners will be delivered in early February, the airline noted.

The passenger turnover of S7 Group was 13 969 786 thousand passenger-kilometers in 2011 (+7,5% as compared to 2010). The cargo turnover was 1 372 965 thousand ton-kilometers (+7%).

«The “S7 Priority” passenger loyalty program has been actively developed last year. The 500-thousandth participant has been registered in the program in November. S7 Airlines has expanded the range of airlines, which are taking part in the loyalty program, by signing the agreement with Indian Kingfisher Airlines. Thus, at present the participants of «S7 Priority» may spend their miles on flights of Airberlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, LAN Airlines, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Niki, Qantas and Royal Jordanian, along with about 20 affiliated companies. The access to more than 550 comfortable business-lounges is provided for high-status participants of the program in many airports all over the world along with some other privileges», - S7’s press-service stated.
