Soyuz-U space rocket with Progress M-14M cargo spacecraft has been launched from Baikonur’s launch site 1 on January 26th at 03.06.40 Moscow time, the press-service of Roscosmos reports. AEX.ru
After the regular separation of the rocket carrier’s third stage, the cargo spacecraft has been placed into artificial satellite orbit at the estimated time and placed under control of Mission control center located in Korolev, Moscow Region.
The docking of Progress M-14M cargo spacecraft with ISS is scheduled for January 28th 04.09 Moscow time.
The spacecraft should deliver different cargo to the ISS with a total weight of over 2600 kg, in particular: fuel, water, food, equipment for control, communications and life support systems, pressurized oxygen resources, medical equipment, personal hygiene products, atmosphere pollution control products and cleaning equipment. Equipment for scientific studies and experiments (Tipologiya, Immuno, Biodegradatsiya, Matreshka-R, Vinoslivost’ and Test) and additional equipment for Russian and American segments along with parcels for crew members will also be delivered.
The crew of 30/31 long duration mission is currently working at the ISS. The crew is formed by commander Daniel Burbanck (NASA), onboard engineers Anton Shkaplerov (Roscosmos), Anatoly Ivshin (Roscosmos), Oleg Kononenko (Roscosmos), Andre Kaupers (ESA) and Donald Pettite (NASA).
