Aviastar-SP, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in Russia and CIS Region, plans manufacturing 10 new An-124s “Ruslan” and a score of Il-476 aircraft by 2020, RIA Novosti-Privolzhye reports with reference to vice-premier of RF, Dmitry Rogozin.

"There is a large fleet of An-124 aircraft, which will be repaired and modernized by 2020 and also ten new ones will be manufactured", - Rogozin said during visiting Aviastar-SP on Friday.

He also noted that it is planned to manufacture a score of Il-476 cargo aircraft at the enterprise by 2020. According to Rogozin, Aviastar-SP will establish the stable serial production of aircraft and deliveries of the vehicles for civil and military aviation. He believes that it will provide modernization of the enterprise’s production capacities and stable wage increase for its employees.
