Another Tu-204-300 aircraft in VIP-configuration has been delivered to Rossiya special aircraft division during solemn ceremony, which has taken place in Ulyanovsk within the framework of visit of vice-premier of Russian Federation, Dmitry Rogozin. It is the second Tupolev liner, delivered this year by Aviastar to Rossiya special aircraft division of Department for Presidental Affairs of RF, Tupolev Company reports. AEX.ru

Straight after the arrival, Dmitry Rogozin has inspected the Tu-204-300 aircraft (№64058). The new modernized Tu-204SM aircraft (№64151) has also been demonstrated to the vice-premier and after that he said to the mass media: “Honestly speaking, I wanted to see the jets first…».

Then Dmitry Rogozin told the mass media about the purposes of his visit, noting that today’s trip is dedicated to kickoff meeting on future layout of aviation development. According to Rogozin, it is a case of Russia establishing stable purchases of indigenous aircraft and it is necessary to revise the price formation and relations between the participants of the process. In this regard the vice-premier has mentioned such advanced projects as Tu-204SM, Il-476 Family, etc.

The representatives of government, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Defense, United Aircraft Corporation, Tupolev Company, Aviastar-SP and administrative authorities of Ulyanovsk Region have taken part in the solemn ceremony of aircraft delivery.

Straight after the ceremony of Tu-204-300 delivery, the vice-premier has held a meeting with the staff of Aviastar-SP and taken part in the ceremony of awarding some of the enterprise’s employees.
