Russia will deliver two Su-30s to Indonesia in 2012

According to the contract signed by Rosoboronexport, Indonesia will receive six Russian Su-30MK2 fighters in three years. The first two fighters will be delivered this year, RIA Novosti reports. It has been reported by the Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff, Imam Suffat.

The contract on delivery of six fighters with a total value of about $500 million has been signed in December 2011.

"Russia intends to deliver two Sukhoi jets to Indonesia in 2012. Two more will be delivered in 2013 and the rest – in 2014", - Suffat said.

Russia has already delivered to Indonesia ten Sukhoi fighters, nine Mi-35 helicopters, 14 Mi-17 helicopters, 17 infantry combat vehicles TMP-3F, 48 armored personnel carriers BTR-80A and nine thousand Ak-102 assault rifles.
