Following the results of 2011, UTair Aviation is among top-3 Russian airlines and it has demonstrated the sustainable growth of its indicators, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru
According to the results of 12 months of 2011, the UTair Group (includes UTair airline, UTair Express, UTair-Ukraine, UTair Cargo, Turukhan airline, Nefteyugansk United Airline Transportation Company, Vostok, Helisur (Peru), UTair Europe s.r.o. (Slovakia), UTair South Africa (Pty) Ltd and UTair India) has transported 6 750 425 passengers (+31,1 % as compared to 2010). According to the current data of transport clearing house, the industry average rate of growth was 12,5 %.
The growth of other Business Performance Factors has also been recorded during the accounting period. The company’s passenger turnover was 12 422 383,6 thousand passenger-kilometers (+38.3% as compared to 2010). The industry average growth of passenger turnover in Russia was 13,2 % in 2011.
The total flight duration of aircraft owned by UTair was 257 961 hours (+ 24,5% as compared to 2010) . The aircraft have transported 19 330,5 tons of cargo (+ 25,7 %) and 4 944,6 tons of mail (+ 27,7 %).
The helicopter division of UTair has also demonstrated the sustainable development. The total flight duration of UTair’s helicopters was 139 580 hours (+ 15,3 %). The helicopters of UTair Group have transported 157 250,4 tons of cargo (+ 11,3 %).
