The passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport was 25 701 610 passengers in 2011 (+ 15,5% as compared to 2010). Such result is the historical maximum not only for Domodedovo, but also for all the Russian airports, Domodedovo’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The airport has serviced the 25-millionth passenger on December 21st 2011. Domodedovo was the first Russian airport to enter the category of the Europe’s largest airports in accordance with ACI classification. Domodedovo airport has serviced 243 198 flights in 2011 (+14,8% as compared to 2010).

На внутренних воздушных линиях пассажиропоток составил 10 224 153 чел., что на 17,6% выше, чем в 2010 году. Наибольший рост зафиксирован на следующих внутренних направлениях: Новый Уренгой, Краснодар, Ростов-на-Дону, Екатеринбург, Владивосток. На данных направлениях было обслужено 1 877 тыс. чел., что на 48,4% выше, чем за аналогичный период прошлого года.

На международных воздушных линиях пассажиропоток составил 15 477 457 чел. (плюс 14,1% к показателю 2010 года). Наибольший рост зафиксирован на следующих международных направлениях: Анталья, Барселона, Дюссельдорф, Бургас, Мюнхен. В 2011 году на указанных направлениях было перевезено 2 453 тыс. чел., что 55,1% превышает показатель аналогичного периода прошлого года.

The peak day by passenger traffic was August 14th 2011, when 109 239 passengers have been serviced by the airport. The maximum number of takeoffs and landings was 871, performed on July 22nd.

The passenger traffic has traditionally increased during winter holidays. Domodedovo airport has serviced 7903 flights and 879 120 passengers during the period from December 28th to January 9th (+13,8% as compared to the same period of 2010). Domodedovo’s cargo traffic was 191 190 tons in 2011 (+19,1%).
