Russia is taking part in more than 20 tenders on delivery of arms to India, said the head of Rosoboronexport, Anatoly Isaikin , during his interview to Kommersant.
"At present we are taking part in 20 tenders only in India", - Isaikin said.
He also added that India is still the Russia’s largest strategic partner in the area of MTC (military-technical cooperation). "It is our number one customer for many years – we have signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation until 2020. Besides deliveries of arms we have agreed upon creation of new aircraft types, carrying out the design and development work and research and development work ", - зsaid the head of Rosoboronexport.
Commenting the loss of MiG-35 in the MMRCA tender on acquisition of medium fighters, Isaykin said, that Rosoboronexport will try to compensate it by means of another tenders. "To win only a half of such tenders is a great luck for any state", - he explained.
