IAC has approved the special program for certification testing of Tu-204SM

The Aviation Registry of Interstate Aviation Committee has approved the special program of Tu-204SM’s certification testing in the area of noise footprint evaluation, “Tupolev” reports. AEX.ru

The methodic council of Zhukovsky flight test and development base, including test pilots and specialists of Tupolev design bureau, with the participation of certification centers have confirmed that Tu-204SM aircraft (tail number 64150) and all the necessary equipment are ready for the testing for evaluation of noise footprint. The specialists admit that the testing technique fully corresponds the similar foreign technique.

Tu-204SM aircraft will perform 6-8 flights in the network of this program.
