Aeroflot has picked up the Russian business travel & MICE awards prize

Aeroflot - Russian Airlines has picked up the Russian business travel & MICE awards prize in the “Best company for business-travellers” category, the carrier’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The awards ceremony (the airline has been awarded with an original statuette and diploma) has been held in Moscow in Renaissance Moscow hotel.

The annual professional award «Russian Business Travel & MICE Award» in the area of business-tourism and MICE has been established by Business Travel magazine and Conference.ru internet portal. It covers all the participants of business-tourism market. The best of the best are selected in 20 categories within the framework of this competition. Among the categories are: congress-hotel, conference center, airline for business-travellers, national tourism office, host of conferences, etc. The competition is being carried out with the assistance of Russian chamber of commerce and industry. Main informational partner is Tourbusiness.

Recommendation of nominees has been carried out using the Mice-Award.ru project’s website until the June 30th 2011. An open balloting was being carried out via Internet from July 1st until September 10th. A few scores of thousands of votes have been submitted during the period.
