The Proton-M rocket carrier with a spacecraft of the Ministry of Defense has been launched from Baikonur cosmodrome

The Proton-M rocket carrier, which has placed the spacecraft owned by the Ministry of Defense into orbit, has been launched from Baikonur cosmodrome’s launch site number 81 on September 21st 2:47, the press-service of Federal Space Agency reports. AEX.ru

The orbital block consisting of spacecraft and “Briz-M” upper stage has separated from the third stage of the Proton-M rocket carrier and started its free flight 9 minutes after the launch.

The start of Proton-M rocket carrier and insertion of the upper-stage with the spacecraft have been performed in a regular mode.

The spacecraft has separated from the upper stage normally at 11:48 Moscow time and it has been placed under the customer’s control.
