Transaero’s passenger turnover has increased by 28.5% during the eight months of 2011

Transaero has totaled the results of its activities in August and 8 months of 2011. They are testifying the stable development of the airline and significant growth of its commercial indicators, the airline reports. AEX.ru

The passenger turnover of Transaero during the period from January to August 2011 was 21 479 597,41 thousand passenger-kilometers (+28.5% as compared to the same period in 2010).

The number of transported passengers was 5 579 859 (+ 28,3%).

30 704,85 tons of cargo have been delivered during the period (+ 33,8%).

The ton-kilometers was 2 109 305,14 thousand tons-kilometers (+ 28,8%).

Transaero has shown the fastest expansion rates of passenger transportation among the five Russia’s largest airlines again. The rates are almost 2.5 times higher than the industry’s average ones», - the airline reports.

The passenger turnover of Transaero in August was 3 737 969,939 thousand passenger-kilometers (+36,5% as compared to the August 2010).

The number of transported passengers was 1 105 029 ones (+ 39% as compared to the August 2010). It is a new record for Transaero, which has transported more than 1 million passengers in a month for the second straight time.
