Transaero, the second Russian largest carrier, and Abacus International, the Asia’s leading company in the area of providing the comprehensive solutions to the airlines for maximizing profit, have signed a commercial agreement, the airline reports. AEX.ru
In accordance with the agreement, the companies start cooperation aimed at increasing the scope of booking on Transaero flights in Central Asia due to usage of efficient distribution system provided by Abacus. It will help Transaero increase its presence in the region, share on this market and sales through the wide network of Abacus.
Abacus has a strong position at Kazakhstan market and continues to invest in expansion of its advanced technologies and solutions in Central Asia. Transaero is the largest carrier between Russia and Kazakhstan and it is trying to increase its sales in the region using state-of-the-art instruments.
«We are continuing our development in Central Asia and we were looking for a reliable partner for cooperation, which may help us increase the capabilities of selling our services in the region. At present, Transaero is performing flights on more than 130 domestic and international routes. The airline’s route network covers a lot of Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Thailand, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. Transaero also has several code-sharing agreements, which allow it to offer more destinations to its passengers and distribute information regarding its special offers more effectively.
