"Russian Knights" and "Strizhi" will take part in MAKS-2011

"Russian Knights" and "Strizhi" aerobatic teams will take part in International aerospace show MAKS-2011, the CEO of Aviasalon, Vladimir Borisov, reported. AEX.ru

Russian Falcons aerobatic team from Lipetsk Air Base of the Russian Air Forces and Baltic Bees aerobatic team (Latvia, Tukums) will also be taking part in show’s flight program. The flight demonstration will be taking part each public day on August 19^th - August 21^st from 11:00 till 17:00.

During “governmental” and business days of the show the flight program will be short – it will include 40 minutes of flights performed by the different types of jets and helicopters.

This is the 200th aircraft of this type produced by the United Aircraft Corporation and the first SSJ leased to the airline from PSB Leasing. The term of the contract is 20 years. Another 3 aircraft of this type were received by the airline this year from STLC. For the aircraft, an inverse version of the airline's livery was chosen (not the standard white and red, but red and white). Now the airline's fleet has 2 aircraft painted in such manner, the second one is A320.
