Transaero has transported more than 1 million passengers during one month for the first time in the airline’s history, the company’s press-service reports. The record has been set in July 2011. AEX.ru
Transaero’s growing route network covers more than 130 destinations in Russia, Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The constantly expanding and renewing fleet of Transaero included 65 aircraft as of the end of July: 17 Boeing-747s, 8 Boeing-777s, 13 Boeing-767s, 24 Boeing-737s and 3 Тu-214s. The airline has the largest fleet of wide-body long-haul aircraft in Russia, CIS Region and Eastern Europe, which transports more than 80% of the airline’s passengers. Transaero is the only operator of Boeing-747 and Boeing-777 aircraft in the region. These aircraft are performing flights to the Far East.
Reaching the level of 1 million transported passengers a month is another evidence of the company’s stable development and its paces are higher than the industry’s average ones. It also demonstrates the increasing demand on the airline’s services among its customers.
