In general, its strategy, which led the company to the leadership at the Russian market and as for military products – at the global market too, consisted of gradual consistent consolidation, provision of stable work for domestic market and export, creation of innovative products in military and civil areas. AMIE Sukhoi has been transformed into another structure in 2011. The corporation has become the Incorporated Holding Company Sukhoi.

It is carrying out serial production of advanced Su-35 multi-role fighter for Russian air forces (at KnAAPO named after Yuri Gagarin). The negotiations on export of this vehicle are in progress. The Su-34 front-line bomber is also being manufactured in Novosibirsk. The company will also deliver a batch of Su-27SM3 and Su030M2 fighters to the Russian air forces", - said in the company’s press-service statement.
The first two test fifth-generation PAK FA aircraft have been manufactured and are undergoing flight testing. Two more fighters will join the flight testing this year. India has joined this project making it international. Sukhoi Company is taking part in other projects in the area of Russian-Indian military-technical cooperation: modernization of Indian air forces’ Su-30MKI fighters, post-sales support of these aircraft and program of BraMos missile integration with Su-30MKI weaponry. At present the Su fighters are put into service by more than 30 countries. According to the experts, the share of Sukhoi fighters at the global market during the period from 2003 to 2010 was around 20%. Su fighters have provided more than 90% of Russian export in the category of multi-role fighters during this period.
Besides area of fighters, Sukhoi is also diversifying its products. The Sukhoi Superjet project is being implemented in the network of this strategy. The first vehicles have been put into operation by Armavia and Aeroflot in 2011. A family of regional and short-haul jets with increased capacity will be created on the basis of SSJ100.
The trends of innovative development are continuing in this decade. The new management plans to continue consolidation of the company and further activation of work on advanced military and commercial projects.
