MS-21-300 will be the main modification of MS-21

The main modification of MS-21 will be МS-21-300. Irkut Corporation intends to produce it in the first instance, said president of Irkut Corporation, Alexey Fedorov, at MAKS-2011. AEX.ru

According to him, MS-21-300 is the most popular model among the customers, thus the decision to produce this model in the first place has been taken. UAC has reported earlier that MS-21-200 will be the first modification of MS-21.

We remind you that MS-21 family includes three models:

MS-21-200 with 150 seats

MC-21-300 with 181 seats

MC-21-400 with 212 seats

Fedorov noted that МS-21-300 will be able to carry 180-200 passengers. The maiden flight of the jet is scheduled on 2014, and the certification – on 2016.
