Aeroflot may acquire Airbus A380

Aeroflot is negotiating with Airbus on acquisition of the world’s largest passenger liners - A380, the representatives of the airframer report. AEX.ru

"Airbus is negotiating with Aeroflot on deliveries of А380. The working parties have been created in the network of these negotiations. It does not mean that the contract will be signed in the nearest future. But the negotiations are in progress", - the representatives of Airbus said during press-conference held within the framework of MAKS-2011 airshow.

As reported by RBC Daily with reference to a source close to Aeroflot, the airline intends to acquire 5 liners. According to the periodical’s information, the airline plans to sign a memorandum with Airbus today on creation of joint working party for elaboration of possibilities and conditions of A380 deliveries.
